It was very cold, extremely dark and blizzard conditions in Canmore tonight. But the hash was in Calgary and only had the cold and the dark. After 20 minutes of Roaring Nancy explaining his marks, the pack was off.

After the walkers trotted up the foothills of the Elbow River, one could see the pack running to and fro in the valley. Lights in all directions. Good thing that the flour had 3 small marks, each was the size of a seagull deposit. While the lead walkers proceeded, the pack milled about in other sections of the valley.

Not to be discouraged, the walkers continued to a main road and found Dastardly all by himself running in circles as all hares do to confuse a pack of dogs. But he wasn't the hare. He was last seen running 180 degrees away from the beer stop.

Continuing on, after more confusion and delay, the walkers found the beer stop, drank an ale, peed on Nancy's shrubs, got cold and walked for 10 minutes back to the start to see the pack running on a hilltop 200 yards away. As we were feeling sorry for them, a not calm and not speaking Blue Balls ran out of the weeds, into his car and before anyone could say hello was gone.

Some hashers decided to venture to the pub to watch Jax humiliate Baltimore, others to watch Texas win a ball game and others to pee and drink cold ale in a warm place.

I hope Dastardly found his way to the beer Stop. He certainly tried hard enough. For the rest of the pack, I am not sure who got a hash shit but suspect who did.

On-On!
