It was a somewhat bizarre evening, to say the least: Dreary doing his best middle-aged, hooker-crack ho impressions, Mum ratting out Sticky the Crown Prosecutor to some Creatures of the Night and D-Cup sucking down a canister of Giggle Gas.

Oh, then there were three slip and falls on trail — where's a lawyer when you need one? Pee-on? Sticky? — and solo hare Lamb Balls giving his usual unintelligible gibberish for instructions, which may have included not giving any handouts to beggars. But who knows?

Welcome to the hash at the Hose and Hound — or was it the Ho's and Hounds — in Inglewood on a lovely and mild early February evening.

The trail meandered through Inglewood, across the bridge at the zoo, along Memorial Drive and the icy Bow River, through a hood north of Memorial, and back into the area where all sorts of, uh, interesting people hang out.

No one managed to get kidnapped or assaulted, unlike the crazy NASA astronaut who drove from Texas to Florida straight through — even wearing a diaper so she wouldn't have to take washroom breaks — to confront her romantic rival. Ah, there's nothing like Hot Astronaut Love. Hashers, take note.

Several hashers carried on running conversations with those who were trolling under bridges, but others just ignored them and kept going.

No hasher, as best as it could be determined, was silly enough to pick up or use any needles along the trail. Probably. Kebab was fascinated by the Salvation Army coffee truck, and was wondering if it ever comes to her neighbourhood.

Meanwhile, back at the bar, the lovely and talented and incredibly sexy Guest RA Clueless — she swears she'll pay real Canadian dollars for every kind word about her, even though she hasn't paid up yet — conducted business with a deft and gentle (cha-ching) touch. For instance:

On On!
