Run #1202 - Boxing Day

December 26, 2004

Hares: P'Tooie
Where: Pints and Half Pints
Big Rock: $9.95 jugs!
Attendance: 19

On this cold but not freezing day, twenty brave and overstuffed hashers decided to follow the rout of our hares for the day. Lakey and P'Tooey and their faithfun friends had marked a trail of debauchery earlier in the day. We started gathering just before 2 pm and some had a beer or two. The hashers straggled in until 2:10. The early hashers were trying to guess the number that we would have. Some said 12 - 14, some said 25 - 30, others thought we have around 20 - 25. The Horn was sounded and we we off, slowly, bundling up for the cold.

We circled around our great Joint Master, Squeeky, as our Hash Mattress was still enjoying the warmth of her fireplace, and the family and food in a warm house. We had no visitors, archives or new boots, (great no introductions) announcements were called for and bood, so we introduced the hares. P'Tooey showed the normal hash markings on the wall of the pub for all to see for days. The best mark was the RG. Yes there will be refreshments, and we were off.

We headed (Who said Head, I'll have some of that .....) South along 4th Street N.E. to 1St Ave and then we went East to 6 Street, then South again to Merideth Road and West through the district. We were now running west along Memorial Drive, to the field West of the shops and up the hill to the apartment building on 1St Ave and 2nd Street. At the top of the stairs, I said "Where did everybody go?" I was last as usual. I followed some marks until I came to a check back. "Should I go to the bar, or find the re-group"? In true hasher form, I back tracked and followed more marks until I found, not the regroup, but Hardly, who had come looking for me. We went to the regroup on the hill by 1st Street and 3 Ave. We had a refreshment, that I drank as we ran to stay with the group. We arrived back at the bar for the down downs and some munchies.

Down Downs:

Hares: Lakey and P'Tooey, great run, great regroup, and lots of fun thank you. Here's to the hares.

Sexual offense: Twisted Sister. Called up for not being able to see the marks, and Hardly for running in sink, feet and arms all the way back from the re group.

Party Pumper: You know it is Christmas when people stop to help little old ladies carry their heavy packages. Thank you Party Pumper.

P'Tooey, Lakey, Left Bun, Knobby, and Willow's owner: For Sally, Chase and Willow for a menage a'tois with Shadow watching. Fun for all, Beastialitiy's best

Beer Angel: Lives up to his name again. He grabs the jug of Big Rick beer, and pours everyone a glass of beer, except himself. He waits for the next jug. What an angel!

Dreary and Flash in the Pants: For having the best or ugliest boxer shorts, we do not know which is which.

Hast Test Dummy: Most creative wearing of boxer shorts. On her head, (Who said Head, I'll have some of that.....) then around her neck, but not on her butt.

Hash Shit Contenders: The last but not least the Hash Shitters: Squeeky, Sumpyton, Mum and Anutie Frank: Kawky Horrerrrrrrrrrrrrr called the four despicable hashers to answer one question. "On the run today, I T'out I saw a lady carrying a big _____________________?"

Sumpyton had the best answer and Auntie Frank ended up with the Hash Shit.

The munchies were served, and great munchies they were, and more Big Rock Beer came with them.

Thanks again to the hares, Pints and Half Pints for hosting us and Big Rock for Beer.

On On!
Twisted Sister
