Run #1095 - 1000 Below Zero

Here we are on a Monday night standing outside Moustache Petes in freezing foul -1000 C weather preparing for another run in the snow.

45 Hashers (6 hash dogs) gathered in a circle around our illustrious Hash boss Skewbie.

He had the audacity to ask if there were any announcements in spite of the cold, and lo and behold we were deluged with them. Yes it was so cold that this scribe's brain froze and couldn't remember them all. It was also sooo cold that : Smirk wore long running pants ; Kingshit had 10 safeway bags (as compared to 1 on a cold night) shoved down his pants ; Choirboy's hair stood on end ; Hottie's eyes froze shut ; Nobby and Left Bun covered there Aussie sun tans under face masks. etc. etc. You get the idea that it was cold.

The run began with a check at Country Hills Boulevard, with the majority of the pack heading north for about 1 kilometer before finding a checkback,

The correct trail was east along Country Hills and then down into a coulee, which is really Nobby and Left Buns backyard. We ran, jogged, scrambled and walked through snow for the next 10 minutes until we came back to the streets where another check sent us in a number of directions. Since this scribe had a shoe full of snow I took the shortcut back to the bar. Those brave Hashers who took the long trail reported that it was a great night of Hashing. Smirk said that it was the best run he had ever taken part in. Burning rubber and Bebitched went as far as the check at Country Hills and returned to the pub. These two Hashers obviously have an I Q far in excess of the average Hasher. If anything else happened on the trail it was not reported to the scribe.

AT THE ON IN:

Management obviously love the Hash as they gave us 3 jugs of beer and 2 trays of food. It's nice for a pub to appreciate our patronage, so lets find more of them.

DOWN DOWNS:

1. Mouthful And Dirty Dancer were downed both for setting the trail and freezing the ass off the Hashers.
   
2. Pyro was downed for showing up for 700 runs. He downed the half yard in 29 seconds. Not bad for an old geezer.
   
3. Polevault was downed for appearing at 400 ON IN's. No one timed his drinking prowess.
   
4. Choirboy was downed for either an E- mail offence or for not knowing the words to Waltzing Matilda. This scribe is too deaf to hear what this was about . Does anyone care?
   
5. Suck No Evil was downed for her 169th run.
   
6. A scary R.A. of the past showed up to put the fear of god into the Hash. Unfortunately most Hashers kept on talking and drinking. We obviously need to get WET ONE back as R.A.
   
7. Finally Nobby, our illustrious R.A., who just returned from Aussie land was given the Hash Shit for spelling Tiny Bubbles name wrong.
