Run #995 - Stampede Hash - July 14, 2001

Early Saturday Morning, (way before hash time) a rumbling in the driveway announced the arrival of Smirk and King Shit. Off we went, into the wonderful world of Bearspaw in order to set the Stampede Hash. Upon reaching Perfesser's place, we witnessed the mass organization of the vittles, evilly run by the hard-working (as you witness below) Tiny Bubbles, and lazy-assed Whale Wanker.

Off we went to set the run. NO SHIGGY, NO HILLS !!! This was our motto. Through hill and dale, bracken (NOTE: we scouted, but avoided for the run, a rather nasty looking route through some chest high nettles !), on and on we went. For a LONG time. It was good.

Back at the ranch, the hashers were milling about. Setting up tents, parking vehicles, drinking beer, having casual sex with any vegetation that wouldn't run away... We all got our stampede shirts (Wet-One said I needed a large...) and then circled up.

Dreary took us through a modified version of 'Today is Wankin Day', which included every day being a wankin day, much to the delight of the crowd.

Off they went, through the trees

down/up the road, past some horses that got really excited!

through a beautiful meadow

All under the careful eye of the local watch-cow.
In my notes, it says something about Not Too Deep teasing the cow, but for the life of me, I can't remember the details.

I remember a check

Dreary complaining about listening to Fuck-oweee about where the trail might go

On WE went, past duck ponds (where hounds got wet), over more hills, through dense forests (more about that later), ononononon - to the regroup !

Where the hashers rested in the shade.
and Hardly showed off his wounds from his battle with a tree in the forest of doom ! .
and Batman took a turn with the hash-camera GOOD AIM BATMAN !!!!!

Knobby found a toy, and then discarded it
At this point, things got a bit blurry again, I remember something about Hot-on-Trail riding Fuckaweee - wait that's me !

What is better than Shiggy ? Shiggy AND Beer !!!!

Amusement from the water hole :

• Takes it Lying Down wanted nothing to do with the pond, figured she would catch something really disgusting (Like What ? a male hasher ?)
  
• Pool Boy Ron noted that the pond was actually cleaner than Vancouver tap water
  
• it was all fun and games, until Knobby took off his shorts !!!!
  
• give Gillie LOTS of room in this kind of water, as she went completely psycho !!.
  
• Hot on Trail goes down, and then under, and then gets really wet and dirty !!! (as seen below)
  

Enough of that.

Back to Perfesser's we went, to get PIG and FISH and BEER !!!

• Mydol for whining about no rum, then he didn't bring any, AND said it was ok, cause he could drink grasshopper !
  
• Hardly, for injuries above and beyond the call of hashdom

• Newboots and Archives and visitors, but i forget, cause by that time, the beer and scotch had gone into my bloodstream, and what grey matter i still have....

Then we ate, we ate all night long, eating pig, and salmon, and
small helpless veggies, and it was good, and there was much rejoicing!!!

Smirk can pee in Scully's cup anytime !
