A small but enthusiastic group of poorly dresses misfits arrived at the Stillwater pub, which had still not recovered from New Year's Eve. The pub was littered with party hats, noise makers, and other party junk as we huddled inside waiting for the hash master Skewbic to announce the start of the run. I think he was desperate for more hashers, or suffering from the evening's festivities himself as the circle was not called until around 2:30
Kawky Horeurr (complete with chicken) and On-In we presented as hares, and did their best to confuse the pack with New Year's Day Markings. The trail took us west, north, west, northwest, north across the river, north, west, east, north, west, north, east, north east, south, west, south, south, west, south REGOUP! Two different liqueurs were offered on the steps of the Eau Claire YMCA. Baby and Value Villain both stopped by to say hello, but neither could be pursuaded to come back to the bar with us. Then we west, south, wested back to the Stillwater.
Neon Stripper was the sole RA for the afternoon festivities, as Knobby was suffering too much from the previous night to even make an appearance. Dreary and Hardly were choir, sitting down and treating the pack to their version of "The Beatles" song "I'm So Tired". The hares were downed, as were a few others, and we were left to our own devices to nurse our sore muscles (including the one between our ears)
ON ON!
