After another wonderful Stampede Hash, here we are again on Monday night for an exciting mistical tour of Bowness Park. There were many hashers out for tonights Pyro run. We know that it would be a wet affair to say the least.
It started with a 1 mile chair lift ride to the top of Panorama Ski Hill. After a quick circle with no announcements, we were off on a trail with flagging as the only marks.
Tarzan and Purple Twist were fropping for most of the trail. It proceeded up to a crest of the mountain to a check. Miss Shiggy insisted on a down hill trail and we all followed her instinks. It came to a shiggy crossing which was the only check back. Twisted then led the group to our first regroup, a quick beer check.
We continued on to a clearing whch had unusual diamond shaped signs indicating caution. We decided to short cut this section of the trail, and avoiding that section of the run. After admiring the many flowers and the wonderful view of the valley below, we again took the chair lift back down the hill.
The Bow River was moving very fast and some hashers decided to float a bit in the current. Hottie and Choir Boy provided to best entertainment of the evening. Pyro and Tiny provided a well deserved regroup at their house and the pack was off again. Once again a trail done well by our hares.
