Run #1024 - Twas the Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas at the Knobbybuns' nest
When commitment to hashing was put to the test.

It's Christmas Eve! Who will show up?
I waited and hoped while I drank from my cup.

When what to my wondering eyes did appear?
Fifteen friendly hashers, all looking for beer.

There was Horse, and Pull-It and her dad Camel Wanker
Hash Test, Skinhead but no Whale Wanker

On Tubbles, Ptooie, Shadow and Lakey
On Mydol, Hottie and of course Kawky

Beaver Flats, Nootka and Lay Em in Snow
Chase, Knobby and Left Bun - all set to go.

We went on the run and were done in a flash
Back to partake in the Christmas Eve bash.

Everyone gave down downs, not just the RA
It was like giving gifts - appropriate for the day.

Then Trivial Pursuits, the boys played quite mean
But of course victory came to the girls team!

They ate and drank and all the dogs played
While under the table Knobby and I laid.

And as the last hasher got out of my sight
I thought. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

I cleaned up the place but left out one beer
For Santa to enjoy when he finally got here.
